Q: What scheduled routes do we fly?
A: We fly from all the Gulf Islands and Maple Bay to Vancouver Airport and Downtown Vancouver.
Q: How much baggage am I allowed to take with me?
A: 25lbs per paying passenger. We can take more at an additional cost if we know at the time of booking.
Q: Can I send packages on Salt Spring Air?
A: Yes, we have cargo service to/from Vancouver Airport and Downtown Vancouver. See our freight section or call for further details local 250-537-9880 or toll free 877-537-9880.
Q: Can I bring my pet with me?
A: Pets are allowed to fly on our aircraft as long as they are in a proper kennel and/or in a harness. For larger pets, usually a seat fare is charged.
Q: Do I have to make an advance booking with you, or can I just show up for a flight?
A: We require advance bookings.
Q: What is the price for children to fly?
A: Children 11 and under fly for half price and infants (2 and under) fly for free.
Q: Can seaplanes fly at night?
A: No, seaplanes are only able to flight in the daylight.
Q: Can I charter a private aircraft?
A: Certainly, depending on the size of your group it may be more cost effective then traveling on scheduled service.
Q: How many seats are available on your aircraft?
A: We have 1 Cessna aircraft (3 seats) and 3 Dehavilland Beavers (6 seats each.)
Q: How soon before the flight should I check in?
A: In order to operate on-time and efficiently, we require passengers to check in 20 minute before flight time.
